The ongoing miniaturisation of high-power electronic components requires materials that can quickly and effectively dissipate heat within an extremely small space. At the same time, the increasing use of lithium ion batteries in electrical and hybrid vehicles creates the need for efficient cooling of relatively large battery packs in order to avoid overheating. Boron nitride is one of the materials that is often used in applications involving the transfer, propagation or dissipation of thermal energy.
Our range of boron nitride pastes and adhesives offer a unique combination of high thermal conductivity while retaining good electrical insulation. They can provide a viable technical solution for thermal coatings in a range of applications including LED lighting, power electronics (e.g. MOSFETs and IGBTs), high capacity battery technology and automotive applications.
